Description of Services Provided:
Drop-In centers are peer-operated, community based programs that provide safe, friendly, confidential, supportive and recovery oriented environments; a place where people share similar experiences regarding treatment and recovery journeys without fear of judgement. Drop-in centers offer a full line of support groups; peer to peer support, DRA (dual recovery anonymous) meetings, journaling workshops, mediation and deep breathing groups, self advocacy and recovery groups, a PTSD group, NAMI connections support group, and many other support initiatives. The goals are to empower consumers to change the quality of their lives, to listen to one another and to let one another know that they are heard, respected and validated; to offer supportive and constructive feedback; and to help one another gain greater insight and understanding.  Services are available to anyone who just needs to talk to someone who understands - all are welcome.
