Position: Outpatient Therapist
Close Date: Open until filled
Hours: 20 hours/week; Part-time
Job Summary: Under the direct Supervision of the Lead Therapist or Office Director, the Outpatient Therapist is responsible for initial assessments, evaluations, diagnosis, psychotherapy, and treatment plans for adult and children consumers experiencing severe and disabling mental illness or severe emotional disturbance. The Outpatient Therapist will develop, implement and evaluate service plans for individuals experiencing mental illness or co-occurring disorders within a multi-disciplinary team setting. The Outpatient Therapist will embrace recovery-based practices; provide psychotherapy according to the needs of the client as indicated by the treatment plan.

Qualifications: The Outpatient Therapist must possess a thorough knowledge of mental illness; knowledge of the dynamics of human behavior and social relationships; knowledge of theory and techniques, and assessment of needs. They must have excellent knowledge of computer programs, have ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines.
Education & Experience: A Masters' degree from an accredited program in Social Work, Psychology or a related field, with at least one year post graduate experience working in a clinical setting. Experience with children desired. Must be license eligible in the state of Montana. LCPC or LCSW preferred.
